Why argue with a teenager?
As 43 year old dad - I can see right through it all. In a way that as a teen, I never knew the extent of—the way that your life, in large portion, is see through transparent to the adults around you. Your mistakes, triumphs - everything. Your willful ignorance - the insistence upon living in your own reality. How hard you are trying to barely scrape by, to do as little as possible.
